Welcome to Slovenia. With the exception of the “black Radler” blog post and lovely lunch breaks in Lljuibojiana, we’ve always just driven through. This time we spent the night at a creepy mine start with a Slovenian Technical Museum.

Really terrible weather, but the inside of the can is also a lovely indoor playground.

Also the restaurant, other than being creepy (mannequins in monk robes everywhere just waiting to start talking), maybe not a bayrische Wirtschaft but then a Slovenian Wirtschaft, also a great playground.

Next morning tippy toppy weather and at this place was a Slovenian technical museum. Apparently they had Tito’s personal car collection. Not sure if they meant the band that wrote Africa or Tito Jackson from the Jackson 5, either way, name dropping.

Enough Tito action, we move on. But where to? We are now without a plan. Just as a joke, I write Danijel to see if he his home. Crap, he actually is. We let him work in peace and make a small stop somewhere in Istria at a glamping spot without the glamour.
Next day no goal, we think Rijeka might have an indoor playground. After the nightmare of trying to park in the city, we go to a Lutz XXXL. I’ll admit, dumbest idea. I was very wrong. Worked out perfect.

Then began the search for a campground. You’d think no problem, but March in Croatia before Easter? Actually a challenge. After several stops we found one.

Next day only a 3km drive to Senj. Hoping to get a restaurant and groceries before Easter…. Where I took no pictures! Well end of this post.
Croatia coastline continues!
Well, I took some pictures of our stop in Senj you could add 🤔
