Main season is over, Germany is getting cold and Freya can walk. Time to head south.

A last minute decision on where to go for vacation, we start heading south. Luckily Michelle has enough points marked on the earth, we can go anywhere…

The music in one of these theme parks is the minimal needed to make you go crazy. But it was good for Freya, plenty of activities for her and the soft ice was really good.

Was a good afternoon. On the evening drive to Schongau we realize that all of our trips have blended together and we don’t know when we stopped where, but it is getting close to we have stopped everywhere. Schongau was a nice old city with some good Greek food.
Next morning, off to a Märchen Park and petting zoo to start the morning:

After a bear ride, we make our way to the Tegernsee.

Then off to Bad Reichenhall to camp at an Italian restaurant. Was a little bit louder than I thought but the food was excellent. Also had a big park where the local nerd (was a cool guy) had a large collection of remote control cars and planes all of which he crashed.

Next morning a lovely stop at a cafe and then a playground before we go.

Austria as always I try to skip. Nothing against Austria, just it’s cold. So we stop on the mountain top of the Tauern tunnel. A closed ski area, but we make the best of it.

Finally to finish Austria, spend the night at a different campsite as our usual to check it out. Place was good, playrooms, games, toys and an U-boot.

Pricey but not bad. Next morning the journey will continue! With more indoor playgrounds….
The restaurant looks really cool. How was the food?
