Slovenia, a new hope

Another journey another drive through Slovenia. We always stop here and we are always pleased with the results. The people are always friendly, speak English, food is good and prices are old school Croatian. Not that this all (except the price) doesn’t apply in other countries… but I think it’s time to make a Slovenian vacation.

Slovenia even has piñatas

A one second google search later, Slovenia has very little coast and all the camp sites there are poorly rated. However Koper itself is a nice town and I am sure an inland vacation here would be fantastic. Need a Slovenian to ask for tips for next time.

No lane for 3 second violations and no 3 point line, an old centers dream court.

As always coming out of the Karawan tunnel into a rain storm that clears up by Llubijana. Always a great city to stop, on the way, only a few minutes to get off the highway and into the city center, easy to park, and even in the worst rush hour, easy to drive. We decide to go to a mall!

Cubby hole nap time
The soft play playground in the mall cost 3€ for a couple hours and I took a nap in a play box. Great!

Rooftop had a basketball court with lighting and prison nets to catch the majority of Danijel passes. Glass boards too. Also took care of some shopping, but didn’t buy the intissimmi Spider-Man underwear, but should have.

Making friends in a tunnel connection east and west block.

Had a huge cheap and friendly Mexican lunch, then spent the night at a free nice campervan parking lot behind a restaurant ran by a friendly lady. Next morning as always went to a playground with everything.

Pump Track. They got everything here.
What starts with F and ends with UCK? Fire truck of course.
And a place across the street called cakes and ice cream. Guess what they had.

And that’s about it unfortunately. I’m always so happy with Slovenia, will have to try to spend more time there next time.

Up next, a post zombie apocalypse vacation in Croatia!
