Time for the family vacation up to Sweden.

Flights unaffordable and trains take longer than car so we gonna try out this night driving concept.
First stop a day in Heidelberg at a Fairy Tale park. Was nice and empty and those are always the best.
An evening beer with Freydoon and family and then the first night drive begins.

Surprisingly a lot of traffic on the way up, makes me wonder how bad this would be during the day. After a couple of failed rest stop gas stations for a cup of coffee eventually made it somewhere before Hamburg at a great closed swimming lake, perfect for an overnighter.

Around the corner stopped at a cafe for a lovely breakfast (where I almost backed the top of the camper into the rooftop balcony… gotta remember that) and then a family campground around the corner (Südsee-Camp Wietzendorf) with an indoor playground. Once again empty, so once again a major winner. Lady was friendly and told me what corner I could lay down in and take a nap.

Daytime drive managed to get through Hamburg and made it to Neumünster. Not a bad town. Michelle and Freya went to the Tierpark and I got some Z’s before the next night drive.

And then onward with the night drive. Denmark border control unfortunately stopped us which awoke Freya, but they were very confused about my nationality and car combo so they moved us quickly through after taking scanning our passports with their phones. Questionable security.
Denmark driving is always so relaxed and easy, small problems at the Malmö bridge, I am currently having till booth problems everywhere, I’m that guy blocking the drive through lane. Then in Malmö and sleep at a Horse Riding Stable and boom, just like that we are in Sweden!
Morning stay in Malmö after a cafe went to the Central Park.

Get some food and let’s go camping!

Up next, surprise its Swedish Day!
