After checking off Astrid’s theme park and Nad in Stockholm, we literally have no plan. Stephanie said something about Mouse Houses in Uppsala, which is a funny word in German anyways so why not?

First impressions of Uppsala. The city is big enough and surrounded by nothing. But at the same time all the houses seemed to be a small gathering of 15 story apartment buildings right next to each other. The city itself is having a lot of renovation and rebuilding of old buildings. Big future for Uppsala.

Found a friendly Italian on the river for lunch. And then found the mice in the walls walking around the city.

Then spent the rest of the time just walking around checking out the town with the normal program of Freya not wanting to sit in the buggy.
Then we left the town to go just outside for a night. I took a nap and the girls took a long walk.

Next morning was pouring rain but we were prepared with an indoor playground.

Freya is getting really good at these things now. You gotta basically run after her the entire time. It’s truly becoming a parkour, that I am way too big for.
And then off to a campground in the middle of nowhere near Västerås.

The funniest thing about this place was how insanely loud the cuckoo bird was. Dude was cuckoo-ing all night insanely loud.
Great relaxed ending to a couple of days. Up next, The Thing!
