Mariebergsskogen in Karlstad

We don’t have the city itself as goal but more so the Marieberg which is a big park with a lot to do.

Also a skating rink in winter.

Every time I say this city name it comes out Karstadt.

There is a huge parking lot with 6 insane luxurious spots for Vans and RVs, which are of course full and have the curse that every 5 minutes people go up and ask when will they be leaving. We park in the lot with the rest of the masses.

The park is great. Has more than enough activities for the day.

We start with another train ride. One time in English!

The information on the train lets us know the cafe in the Naturum. I was told no to cappuccino, only coffee.

Leave no trace. But the bears did!
There was an inter active game for guessing which animal the poo belongs too.
We had a nice walk (carry) through the woods.
There was also a zoo. Goats love it when you pound on the glass.

Rabbits, cows, pigs, goats and sheep and many many more.

A playground (with trains)
Some culture (rebuilt)

For the evening we went to the city and had an interesting experience at a very kid friendly restaurant.

Please notice Michelle’s drink in the front.

The next morning a little bit more of the same. I probably mixed the pictures up a bit already.

Check your animal height.
And of course, another cafe.
Last but not least, waffles!

All of this and more packed into a little park. Other cool sounds and optical effects and a beach and a mini golf and a basketball court and a beach volleyball court and and and and….. definitely kept Freya and us busy 🙂
