The Hand-Off

Day 2: Dec 18th. Martin and I hop in Hubi at around 7. Instead of going to the close boarder, we go to go to one about 450km away. Really beautiful drive into the mountains. Chile boarder 1 no problem. 60Km of no mans land, really beautiful, have a pano picture.

Changed plates, Hubi is mine. Argentina border was a little different, first time my car being registered. Drove into Argentina for like 15 minutes, turned around and headed back. Got stuck in a serious Goat Stau, funny. Got a picture.

They were all over the street, sleeping.

Back at the border, they were very sceptic. Although with my insanely broken poor spanish, they decided not to talk to us and let us go. Eventually again at Chile for border number 4, no problems. I am now registered with person + car in 2 countries, should go easy. Long long long drive back home. Total driving time around 14 hours I think, mega road trip. Got back to hotel, beer was good. Ate, and said goodbye.

My first South American Cerveza was mighty damn delicious!
