After a lovely breakfast of bacon, beans and eggs at house Pandza, we start making our way south on the mainland with Senj as our goal.

Croatian Autobahn is great, fast, no cars and cheap! Best of all, we payed our toll before hitting the tunnels and bridges of Rijeka.
Somewhere north of Senj, time for a pause:
As iOverlander from our South America tour is not the main source of info in Europe, we are mildly dependent on Park4Nite, which didn’t have the thousands of campsites on the beautiful coastline all the way from Rijeka to Senj. I was feeling kinda fit and Senj was just a planned stop if tired, so we pushed on to the island of Pag.

Michelle thinks our last ferry was the one that was literally a piece of wood with a 5hp outboarder, I remember a different one.
Ferry was great. Standard organized entrance, and they let all chaos loose by exiting. The German Drängeln system was full in effect and all chaos exploded. We were laughing.
There are a lot of campsites on Pag, and a lot highly rated, we tried to go to the furthest one possible, and found a great one with parking in shade under olive trees. The neighbor campsite chopped all the trees down so every spot had ocean view, we enjoyed the shade.

Restaurant was great. Can’t get closer to the ocean.

After the meat and cheese platter, I’m not sure if the owner/waitress was trying to sell me more cheese or offer some cause we be generous tippers. She asked my favorite, I pointed randomly at one, she said randomly that was Dodic (no idea). Her husband came up, repeated Dodic, we looked at him, he said Dodic Mensiscus, so I replied with Dodic Kukoc, and everyone laughed. My first Croatian joke.
Next stop was south to Biograd, we were the first at the campsite. Then came 10 more, dude working said it’s all my fault, and we started it.

Tried more Kukoc humor with him, just for the reply that Michael Jordan is dead. What?!?!?
Yeah.
When?!?!?
Recently.
No fucking way!?!!
Oh, not him, other guy. I put wrong man in grave. It happens.
Holy shit!!
So the next day we took a lovely boat tour to National Park Kornati, which we have our opinions, but was done as an inspection for future sailing.

Good times, lessons learned from boat tours. Off we go!
Looks like good times. Did you enjoy your Kucok?
