Lovely Day!

Our Bill Withers Lovely Day actually started off with a bang. Neighbor had a combo of chainsaw, blower, lawnmower and woodchipper all in one device at 7am. That thing was loud. It became hilarious when he stepped it up in high gear.

The first stop of the day was National Park Krka. We love our waterfalls and this place has them!

After the lovely national park that included a great hike and lots of sweating, (we skipped the boat ride) we had an appetite. So off to Šibenik! Home of Dražen Petrović!

Cute town, impossible to park, really really old! I was so awestruck I forgot to take pictures. Narrow Venetian streets and old churches castles and gardens.

We skipped the castle and went to a garden for a Gallon of lemonaid, so hot and thirsty.

I didn’t understand the statue. Looks more footie than bballie. apparently he has more in Zagreb. Also a lot of emphasis on his bob ross Afro.

And the court behind him! So beautiful! Glass boards. Full sized. Great lines. And WTF! No one there!

Then a lovely car ride to Trogir where we have our first negative camping experience, place was full! So we travelled more off country and found a lovely place. great way to end the day with a swim in some crystal clear water and minimal tourists!

National Parks, hiking, waterfalls, old city, good food and a beach. That.. is a lovely day.
