The island of Rab

Finished our Croatian tour with a nice long relaxed stay on the island of Rab with a few lessons learned and some already known. Don’t go to huge campgrounds nor family friendly, look for small and dog friendly.

At least I think that’s Rab

Also what was already known as the island of Rab has a lot of nude beach action, is avoid that. You see 99-1 things you wish you could un-see as to the one that isn’t even nice to see, just tolerable.

So yeah, lesson one, we went to a massive camp ground and that sucked, but walked to the old city of Rab. Very pretty.

So the next morning changed campsites and we’re very happy and just relaxed for 3-4 days.

Played some mini golf. Danijel learned his shot here.

I shouldn’t say this but it took us like 30 attempts to put a basket.

Ordered a BBC….
Great cocktail bar next to our campsite. Very friendly people.
Some lovely panorama views on the drive to the ferry that didn’t run.

We wanted to go out to the island Goki Otok with the Goli express… any info found online about the thing was wrong as we went there two days in a row and no tour for us. Oh well.

Some birthday wine
And that’s the end!

On the way back, stopped for lunch randomly in Slovenia, definitely a future option.

She told me to have a Black Radler. It was ok. More like Spetzi though. (See Spetzi post)

Spending the night in Hallstatt Austria, which is on the same level as Tittisee for tourism pure, but at least it’s pretty here.

The End!
