The Canoe trip ended with a perfectly timed torrential downpour. We wanted to ask an employee of the boat people what’s next to do up north, but they were all way too stoned to notice their current surroundings.

We noticed on our way randomly North that we were getting more in the middle of nowhere, and the signs on the street saying where restaurants, picnic tables (aka campsites) and things to see where much more reliable than even google. this caused a perfectly timed restaurant and sleeping spot for the evening. I was able to find something I think Michelle would like just a bit more, so no need here to ask what’s in the area.

After a lot of reindeer just chilling on the streets, we reached our destination, a craft brew pub???

The lower sign of the two, go ahead and pronounce it out loud, I’ll buy you a beer if you do, was the actual spot. The beer and bags were an added bonus.
It was a tour of Musk Ox in Sweden. While they the majority are in the rest of the arctic (Norway, Alaska, Canadialand) there are about 30 in Sweden, accidentally.

And we got the most confusing story ever, but after 8 hours of piecing it together, this friendly Östersünd couple had a friend, that the bull not pictured above (she’s the cow), after leaving the nature herd in the mountains cause he didn’t win the head butting competition, therefore no women, left the pack on his own. Not very different from any ski trip with the boys. After 3 years of living in someone’s backyard, he got picked up, moved here, and was given his own area and his own cow. A thorough lesson in bros before hoes.

Up next, we asked the lovely Östersund couple what’s to do around here. We found out the locals enjoy imprisoning Lady Gaga.
There’s a local tiny music fest in Östersund going on, where the pride is that the year before Lady Gaga got big, they booked her, then she got big, but was still contractually obliged to play here. The Swedes took a strange amount of pleasure in this entrapment. I’m sure she was happy to play there. Bummer, no pictures of the fest!

After the fest we left the bay to go on the island with some Hamburgers. I don’t know if they are still called Hamburgers when they are St Pauli fans? They had a setup so they could watch the game. So we asked them, what’s to do around here? And leave it to a three pack of Pauli fans, winner winner! But first, more Reindeer herding.

Don’t worry, everyone was especially mindful of the reindeer and drove at snail speed when they were around. Think I’ll try to pet one.
Coming soon (if I ever get signal again), the adventure into Lappland!

regarding the couch: I think the style is called chesterfield and on the same topic: did you get the job?
And also the reindeer look so funny when running.
