Elba

We take a week off to chill and relax on the island of Elba.

We are getting better and prepping the van and go go go, unfortunately the cats know exactly what the van is for and the were/are very sad. All good, they are just cats.

The classic Uwe sarcastic non-sarcastic comedy routine of shortening the autobahn. Unfortunately some bridge is currently destroyed so it took us forever to get through ulm. Also I drove on a bridge only for Straßenbahn. This one above is perfect with a shot of the always permanent scaffolding on the Munster Ulm.

I managed to get that light pole right in the middle!

The way through the Swiss was new to me, and really pretty and high. Didn’t take a picture though at the pass pause. Nor did I take one from our first campsite, exception the beer. Oh well, travel on. Hopped on a ferry and made our way.

Took the unnecessary scenic route on the way to the camp which specifically said not for our vehicle. We are South American proven, this mountain road was easy stuff.

Taking a pause from the constant on the go camping trips and we got a one spot stop this time, nice and shady, by the beach, off-season prices, and pictures of Marcel’s camper across the water from us.
